Pre-Driving Checklist

1. The Driver Theory Test
   
The first port of call is the Driver Theory Test. This test was first introduced by the government in 2001,. In order to get your first Learner's Permit you must take and pass the Driver Theory Test.

The Driver Theory Test is a multiple choice exam which is taken at one of the many approved driver test centres around the country. There are 40 questions with 35 being the required passing mark. To book your test now call Lo-call 1890 606 106 or visit the Driver Theory Test Website.

2. Obtain an Eyesight Report

In order to obtain your first Learner's Permit you will need to submit an Eyesight Report along with your Theory Test Certificate, Proof of identity and of course your application form.

3. Learn to Drive

Once you have your Learner's Permit, it's time to get learning. This is where we come in. Our instruction will place you firmly on the road to driving success.
Remember
You must carry your Learner's Permit with you at all times while driving and you must have your learner's permit for at least 6 months before taking the driving test.
